Antov died after falling from the third floor of his luxury hotel in the southern district of India’s Rayagada, according to Indian police official Vivekanand Sharma, who said police believe Antov died by suicide, though they are still investigating the matter.

Maslov had worked at the tank manufacturing company, Uralvagonzavod. They are one of the largest main battle tank manufacturers in the world.
Since 2008, Maslov was Russia’s chief military representative to NATO. During his distinguished military career, he received many awards, including the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree.

A friend of Pavel Antov named Vladimir Budanov died in the same hotel just days earlier. Vivekanand Sharma, a police official in the Indian state of Odisha, said that Budanov suffered a stroke while Pavel Antov “was depressed after his death and he too died.”
Citing local police, Indian outlet NDTV reported that a Russian tourist had died after falling from the third floor of a hotel. The Russian consul in Kolkata, Alexei Idamkin, told the Russian state news agency TASS that police did not see a “criminal element in these tragic events.” Antov had just celebrated his 65th birthday in the hotel.

The institute’s press office described his death as “the result of an accident.”
Gerashchenko, who led the organization from 2007 to 2015, was serving as an adviser to the institute’s current rector when he died, according to state-controlled outlet RIA Novosti.
He spent 45 years rising through the ranks there and was honored with government awards, such as the Merit to the Fatherland medal.

Ivan Pechorin, a top manager at the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, was found dead in Vladivostok after allegedly falling off his luxury yacht and drowning near Cape Ignatyev in the Sea of Japan two days before, according to the local administration.
“On September 12, 2022, it became known about the tragic death of our colleague, Ivan Pechorin, Managing Director for the Aviation Industry of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic,” a statement from the company said.
Pechorin is said to have been tasked with modernising Russia’s aviation industry and worked directly under Putin.

The news of Pechorin’s death came less than two weeks after the chairman of the board of Russia’s largest private oil company, Ravil Maganov, died in what Russian news agencies cited as an accidental fall from a hospital window.
Initially, a statement by his company Lukoil said Maganov “passed away after a severe illness” on 1 September but did not give further details.
Russian news reports later stated his body was found on the grounds of Moscow’s Central Clinical Hospital, where Russia’s political and business elite are often treated.
Maganov appeared to have fallen from a sixth-story window, the reports said.
Some sources claimed he tripped and fell while smoking, stating a pack of cigarettes was found by the window. The news site RBK also said police were investigating the possibility of suicide.
Lukoil was one of a few Russian companies to publicly call for an end to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, calling in March for the “immediate cessation of the armed conflict”.

The apartment in Lloret de Mar, Spain residence’s garden was locked from the inside and a pistol was found in Avaev’s hands, leading investigators to explore the theory that Avaev shot his wife and his 13-year-old daughter before killing himself.

On March 24th 2022, Russian newspaper Kommersant reported the death of billionaire Vasily Melnikov in his luxury apartment in Nizhny Novgorod, the sixth-largest city in the country.
According to police investigations mentioned by Kommersant, Melnikov—who reportedly worked for the medical firm MedStom—was found dead in the apartment together with his wife Galina and two sons. They had all died from stab wounds and the knives used for the murders were found at the crime scene.
Kommersant reported that investigators concluded that Melnikov killed his 41-year-old wife and 10-year-old and 4-year-old children before killing himself, but neighbors and relatives struggle to believe this theory. According to the Ukrainian media outlet Glavred, Melnikov’s company was suffering huge losses because of Western sanctions.
Another theory, says Glavred, is a possible confrontation with a former business partner. But according to sources cited by Kommersant, police found no traces of any external interference or struggle in the Melnikovs’ apartment.

At that time, 60-year-old Gazprom’s top manager Leonid Shulman was found dead in the bathroom of a cottage in the Leningrad region, next to a note that led police to believe he died by suicide, according to Gazeta and Russian media group RBC.
RBC reports that Gazprom Invest said it was investigating the death of Schulman.
“Our colleague, the head of the transport service, Leonid Aleksandrovich Shulman, has passed away. The circumstances are being investigated,” RBC quotes the company saying.
According to RBC, Shulman was on sick leave when he died.
